FAYEZ Restaurant dining room in Baghdad

FAYEZ opened in 1987 as a single masgouf grill on the banks of the Tigris. Today it is one of Baghdad's most loved dining rooms — but the fire, the apricot wood, and the family recipes have not changed.

Our kitchen is led by chefs who learned from their fathers: quzi slow-cooked overnight with cardamom and saffron, dolma rolled by hand each morning, kubba shaped to the size our grandmothers insisted on, and bread pulled hot from the clay oven every hour.

Whether you join us in the dining room, collect from Karrada, or order delivery across Baghdad, every plate leaves our pass to the same standard.
